It’s a cost-effective, disruptive B2B wood colouring technology for the interior and exterior industries. Our colouring method involves a complex molecular-level formation in the wood based on a non-toxic reaction. Currently, we produce black, brown and grey colours, with more in development. ecoblaq™ is not a paint; no top layer is added, nor any binders, fillers, toxic chemicals or plastic.

We are a Danish start-up developing a new technology for colouring wood and plant materials that meets the industry's need to colour products without contaminating the natural wood and plant materials.

This will minimise the use of environmental pollutants in the industry. It will also make it possible to reuse the product material in a circular system.

Particles of paint account for 58% of all the microplastics, that end up in our
oceans and waterways.

Maintain As Raw Wood

our technique colours the surface of the wood. After the colouring it’s treated as raw wood, using a preferred finishing treatment, as oil, wax, soap. It is possible to maintain and repair, keeping the wooden surface beautiful for generations.
